Sustainability is not a new concept for Hollman. Since 1976, our efforts have been focused on the health & future of our business and the earth around us. To protect the future of our planet and generations to come, Hollman is committed to improving our manufacturing operations regarding environmental concerns.

Be an environmentally responsible neighbor in the community and correct incidents or conditions that endanger health, safety, or the environment.
Meet and exceed all applicable state and federal requirements, and adhere to stringent standards, no matter where we do business.
Continuously strengthen our commitment to the above-stated principles through technological improvements, production changes, and due diligence.
Ensure all employees learn, understand, and comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
Minimize waste and other pollution, minimize health and safety risks, and dispose of waste safely and responsibly.
Improve environmental protection and understanding.
Promptly report all noncompliance issues in accordance with applicable governmental reporting requirements, evaluate causes of noncompliance, and implement corrective actions.
Conserve natural resources through pollution-prevention practices. Hollman tracks waste by tonnage, reported monthly, leveraging state-of-the-art technology to minimize all unutilized/waste raw goods. This metric is subject to continuous improvement review.
Ensure the responsible use of energy throughout our business, including conserving energy, improving energy efficiency, and prioritizing renewable over non-renewable energy when feasible. We track energy usage year-over-year by calendar month and strive for continuous improvement through enhancements to our plant equipment and processes.

Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association
BIFMA is the not-for-profit trade association for the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association. Since 1973, BIFMA has been the voice of the commercial furniture industry and promotes sustainability throughout the life cycle of commercial furniture.
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certification
FSC certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits. The FSC Principles and Criteria provide a foundation for all forest management standards globally, including the FSC US National Standard (v1.0) that guides forest management certification in the U.S.
Green Business Bureau
Hollman is Platinum Certified. The Green Business Bureau is the trusted authority in green business. Their EcoAssessment and EcoPlanner tools enable businesses to understand, prioritize, implement, and certify green initiatives, sustainable business practices, and commitments.
U.S. Green Building Council
Hollman Inc. is a proud member of the U.S. Green Building Council. The U.S. Green Building Council is a membership-based non-profit organization that promotes a sustainable, prosperous future through LEED certification for green buildings and communities worldwide.
Woodworking Quality Certification
AWI’s Quality Certification Program is the industry standard in quality assurance for interior architectural woodwork. The Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) is a professional trade association.
Environmental Product Declaration
Hollman has completed and received a verified Environmental Product Declaration. An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a transparent, objective report that communicates what a product is made of and how it impacts the environment across its entire life cycle.
